The Story

A Royal Chandigarh wedding with the bride in rust orange lehenga.. Yes you have listed it all right and we love the brides who love to experiment with their bridal looks. Here this bride Karishma is an advocate, but being a makeup artist is what she is really passionate about. She and her husband, who happens to be an advocate himself, met at their workplace at The High courts! He eventually asked her family for her hand in wedding and she had her ‘happily ever after’ The wedding ceremonies were a 5 day affair from starting their rituals by seeking God’s blessings the first ceremony was The sukhmani sahib path followed by Mata ki chownki to haldi to mehendi then sangeet and finally the wedding all were fun filled with love and blessings from friends and family!  Theme for the haldi and mehendi was Indian traditional decor with hanging and colored tassels and umbrellas in hues of pink and peach accompanied by Calcutta the genda floral arrangement at home. The wedding venue was Palms in Zirakpur again with heavy floral arrangements and play of beautiful lights.

Karishma had a very different looks in her mind and was very particular about what she wanted to wear on each occasion but she was not very fussy about it all she enjoyed her shopping with her friends and did it all hassle free her all-time favourite designer is Shymal bhumika and if not all then at least a few outfits were inspired by his designs! She went all in with mirror work for her sangeet and flora for her haldi and sported a comfy off shoulder for her mehendi. And last but not the least her absolute favourite has to be her wedding outfit! For which she was inspired by Deepika Padukones flora lehenga but unlike hers, Karishma was in muted pastel tones.
