People say that there is only one happiness in life, to love and being loved. Transforming and converting that love into the holy alliance of marriage is nothing less than a blessing.
A successful marriage happens when two people keep falling in love with each other. One such couple is our very own designer couple- Kunal Rawal and Arpita Mehta. They are the connoisseurs of the fashion industry. Kunal and Arpita have been together for more than a decade. As they say, it was love at first sight.
Finally, after dating for more than 10 years, the duo tied the knot on August 26th, 2022.
Let us take a look at their lavish wedding.
Kunal Rawal and Arpita Mehta got married in a lavish and sumptuous wedding ceremony. It was an intimate ceremony with around 50 close guests. The wedding took place on August 26th at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Colaba.
The sangeet ceremony took place at IFBE, Ballard Estate. The duo did not want to make their sangeet happen at some banquet, but they wished for something contemporary and minimalistic. Kunal wore a long sequinned sherwani jacket, and Arpita wore a black shimmery evening saree. She paired up the saree with a minimalist neckpiece, maangtikaa, and bangles.
For the mehendi function, Kunal wore Dark Beige coloured kurta. Arpita wore a mint green coloured lehenga, and paired it up with a green layered Rani Haar, heavy chaandbaalis, and a heavy maangtikaa.
The wedding was an ivory themed wedding. Touch of white and golden colours were there. The outfits of the couple were coordinated. The bridesmaids and the groomsmen coordinated their outfits as per the wedding theme.
Kunal wore an off-white sherwani, along with a long beige shaded dupatta. He paired it up with a golden layered neckpiece and an off-white safa with golden kalangi.
Aprita wore a golden sequinned lehenga which belongs to her label only. She paired the lehenga with a kundan and emerald neckpiece, heavy kundan earrings, and kundan maang tikka. She kept her hair open. As per the tradition, she wore traditional punjabi chooda as well, but in the shade of pink.
While walking down the aisle, Arpita covered her head with a long white veil. She was dancing while walking towards the love of her life.
The wedding was a completely star-studded wedding. Celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Varun Dhawan, and Malaika Arora graced the wedding of the duo with their presence.
The wedding was indeed nothing less than a luxurious wedding. Here is to love, laughter, and happily ever after
